Minnesota Brownfields 2021 COVID Statement
- Attendees of MN BROWNFIELDS’s events and activities are responsible for their own health and safety at all times. While MN BROWNFIELDS will institute enhanced safety protocols, registrants knowingly and freely assume all risks related to illness and infectious diseases, such as COVID-19. MN BROWNFIELDS is not liable for illnesses or other medical issues arising from voluntary
- MN BROWNFIELDS events will follow current guidelines including those for large gatherings provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) as a minimum safety threshold but may also include additional best practices for elevated health and safety
- Any public space where other people are present holds an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases. By attending this event, I agree to voluntarily assume all risk related to exposure and agree to not hold MN BROWNFIELDS or any of their affiliates including partners and sponsors, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors, volunteers, or sponsored venues liable for illness. I will take necessary precautions while at the event including, but not limited to, engaging in appropriate social distancing, wearing a mask in public areas when not consuming food or beverage, minimize face touching, frequently washing hands and avoiding risky environments such as overcrowded bars or restaurants. I agree to not attend any MN BROWNFIELDS event if I feel ill or had recent exposure to a COVID-19
All MNB educational forums are open to the general public. Environmental consultants, attorneys, private and public developers, residential builders, real estate professionals, and financial services providers/lenders are all encouraged to attend.
