Student Resources

Welcome to Minnesota Brownfields!  This is a great organization to network with professionals passionate about the cleanup of contaminated properties. You will meet environmental consultants, attorneys, redevelopment companies, contractors, other nonprofit groups, and government representatives from cities, counties, and state.

We have great education available to our members including brownfield basics for those new to the field, technical forums on the latest challenges in the brownfield arena, and State of Brownfields discussing legislative updates on environmental issues. And, then we celebrate our successes each year at the ReScape Awards event in April that showcases recent completed brownfield redevelopment projects.

Our members also have access to our members only website page including resources, chat rooms on current issues, and members only events. Minnesota Brownfields is a great way to get involved in your future profession.

Minnesota Brownfields routinely hires interns from a variety of disciplines, stay tuned for future opportunities.

The Mac Hyde Brownfield Scholarship  is available for students pursuing studies in diverse fields related to brownfield redevelopment. Complete information is available on our Mac Hyde Scholarship page.
