Nominate a Project
Minnesota Brownfields is no longer accepting nominations for the 2019 ReScape Awards. Nominations for the 2020 Rescape Awards will be accepted beginning in August 2020.
Applicants can be an individual, company, organization, governmental body or agency, or a group comprised of any of these. Applications may be submitted by any party having an interest or involvement in a project. The project must be a redeveloped brownfield which has been completed and ready for use between January 1, 2017 – August 31, 2019. For purposes of this award, “brownfields” are environmentally impaired abandoned or under-utilized properties.
At least one member of the nominating team must be a member of Minnesota Brownfields by the date of the application.
A team of independent judges will serve on a panel for each of the four award categories – Community, Economic, Environmental, and Greater Minnesota – and will select the winners. Judges will be comprised of leaders in government, environmental, business and/or academic professions.
Applications will be evaluated by the judges based on measurable results of beneficial impact, use of innovative solutions, and incorporation of sustainability.
